Alix Earle Shares “Serious Struggle” of Discussing Alex Cooper Feud on New Reality Show

Alix Earle will always call her family for help.

More than a year after the influencer sparked rumors of a feud with Alex Cooper when her Hot Mess podcast was removed from the Call Her Daddy host’s Unwell Network, she reflected on navigating the online drama and its subsequent fallout.

“I feel good about it,” Earle exclusively told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes at the Earle Meets World premiere in Los Angeles Sept. 1. “I know it’s hard in the heat of the moment when you’re so emotional about a situation, and then you have so many people also wanting to know what’s going on. That was a really tough time for me.”

Luckily, the Dancing With the Stars runner-up had her loved ones—including sister Ashtin Earle, parents Thomas Earle and Alisa Maniaci, as well as stepmom Ashley Dupré—by her side through it all.

“I’m happy that my family kept me grounded and was like, ‘Put your phone down. Don’t do anything. Don’t act out of emotion,'” she recalled. “You want to have a little bit more of a sound head on your shoulders. So, I’m happy with the way that I handled it.”
