Also starring genre icon Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog, Escape from New York), the horror thriller premiered at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival last month.

Lilimar and Simone star as two self-destructive best friends who accidentally kill their drug dealer and are forced to flee town. Stopping at a roadside antique shop, they discover that the older woman running the place (Barbeau) isn’t as sweet as she seems.

It’s out of the frying pan and into the fire as they fight for survival while the criminals they were running away from descend on the property.

Tyler Savage writes and directs, based on his 2023 proof-of-concept short also starring Barbeau — which you can watch in its entirety below.

Will Oldham (A Ghost Story), James Lee Thomas (One Spoon Of Chocolate), Sarah Durn (Shelby Oaks), and Xander Berkeley (Candyman) round out the feature cast.

David Broad, Noah Lang, Javier Gonzalez, and Max Neace produce. Executive producers include Lilimar, Simone, Barbeau, Jamie Meyer, Andrew Carlberg, Lucas Fleisher, Misdee Wrigley Miller, Joe Livecchi, and David Cottingham.

Raven Banner Entertainment will launch sales for Oddities at this month’s Cannes film market.

“We’re always drawn to bold, filmmaker-driven genre pieces that take big swings, and Oddities absolutely delivers,” said Raven Banner’s Michael Paszt. “Tyler has crafted something that feels dangerous, unpredictable, and genuinely fun. It’s exactly the kind of film that connects with international audiences looking for fresh voices in horror.”

“The film has a sharp tonal balance and a strong commercial hook and a phenomenal cast that bring this film to insane heights,” added Raven Banner’s James Fler. “We’re excited to bring Oddities to the global marketplace and build on the momentum from its festival launch.”
