Pluto TV Adds The Exorcist, The Evil Dead, Childs Play, and More Free Horror Movies for November 2026

Horror

Halloween is over, but Pluto TV hasn’t put the fake blood away yet. The free, ad-supported streamer’s November horror and thriller lineup kicked off November 1 with The Exorcist, The Evil Dead, both versions of Child’s Play, and a deep bench of cult oddities most of us keep meaning to get around to. Pluto’s full November slate runs well past what fits here, so treat this as our shortlist rather than the complete catalog.

A November 2 update also confirms two big blocks of genre viewing are streaming right now: the first eight Friday the 13th movies and Ti West’s complete X trilogy. More on both below, because the calendar is doing us a favor this month.

The Classics

Pluto TV Adds The Exorcist, The Evil Dead, Childs Play, and More Free Horror Movies for November 2026

The November 1 headliners are recognizable heavy hitters. The Exorcist (1973) leads the pack, joined by Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead (1981), Tobe Hooper’s Poltergeist (1982), and The Amityville Horror (1979). Pluto’s November announcement also brings David Fincher’s Seven (1995) and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, which adds some serial killer dread and pod people paranoia to the pile.

Franchise completists get two tidy double bills. Child’s Play arrives in both versions, Tom Holland’s 1988 original and Lars Klevberg’s 2019 remake. 30 Days of Night (2007) shows up with its sequel, 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, so the vampire weekend practically plans itself.

Then there’s the stretch of the list that feels like a late 1980s rental shelf: The Lost Boys, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Pumpkinhead, and The Return of the Living Dead. Vampires, a vengeance demon, punk rock zombies, and murderous alien clowns, all in one place. Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, the 1990 anthology spun off from the TV series, rounds it out.

The Deeper Cuts Worth Your Time

Patrick Stewart is the Genre Film Genius We All Deserve

The more interesting part of the list lives further down.

Green Room comes from Jeremy Saulnier, who followed Blue Ruin with this story of a punk band trapped at a remote neo-Nazi club after stumbling onto a murder. Anton Yelchin leads, and Patrick Stewart plays the club’s owner.

Afflicted is a found footage film from Derek Lee and Clif Prowse, who also star as two friends whose trip around the world changes course after an encounter in Paris. The less anyone knows going in, the better.

Spontaneous, Brian Duffield’s directorial debut, stars Katherine Langford and Charlie Plummer as high school seniors whose classmates start exploding without warning. It’s adapted from Aaron Starmer’s novel.

Men is Alex Garland’s story of a widow, played by Jessie Buckley, who retreats to the English countryside, where Rory Kinnear plays nearly every man she meets.

Elsewhere, there’s Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair in Mom and Dad, Jon Watts’s Clown from before he moved on to Spider-Man movies, Medusa Deluxe, a murder mystery set at a hairdressing competition, and Woodshock, the Kirsten Dunst film directed by Rodarte founders Kate and Laura Mulleavy. Grindhouse (2007), Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s double feature, is in the November announcement too. Sequel diehards also get Texas Chainsaw 3D and The Last Exorcism Part II.

A Friday the 13th Marathon With Perfect Timing

Friday the 13th Part VII

According to Pluto TV’s November 2 update, the first eight Friday the 13th films, from the 1980 original through Jason Takes Manhattan, are available free now, along with the documentary His Name Was Jason. The update confirms they’re streaming; it doesn’t say when they joined the service.

Here’s the fun part. November 13, 2026, falls on a Friday. Eight movies is a long day at Crystal Lake, especially with ad breaks, and yes, that count includes the one where Jason spends most of his time on a boat. We’re not saying call in sick. We’re saying the math works.

Ti West’s X Trilogy, All in One Place

MaXXXine Casting Call

The same update confirms Ti West’s full X trilogy is streaming: X (2022), its prequel Pearl (2022), and MaXXXine (2024). Mia Goth anchors all three, so watch them in release order or start with Pearl and go chronologically. Either way, it costs nothing but a few commercial breaks.
