RJ Mitte’s sister Lacianne Carriere is still wrapping her head around his tragic death.
Nearly two weeks after the Breaking Bad star died by suicide Oct. 12 at age 34, his sister shared a devastating glimpse into the moment she found out her brother had passed, as well as the grief that followed.
“There are just no words. You were just here,” Lacianne wrote on Instagram Oct. 23 alongside never-before-seen photos and videos of RJ. “Your strawberry Fanta was still sitting on my coffee table when I got the call. Life hasn’t felt real since then.”
But even through the pain, Lacianne is committed to keeping The Oak Room actor’s legacy alive.
“Since the phone call I’ve been sitting around with your closest people almost every night sharing the craziest stories that could never be said anywhere else and god that was just you..,” she wrote. “You were the life of the party, coolest guy that we all tried to keep up with but never could.”
And that’s just one reason Lacianne and RJ were more than siblings. As she put it, “Rj you were my everything.”
