French luxury goods group LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton has reported continued growth in the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, supported by solid momentum in the US, Europe and Japan. The group maintained its innovative momentum despite a less buoyant trading environment in China and wider geopolitical and economic uncertainty.

Revenue reached €18.504 billion (~$20.67 billion, as per conversion rate of $1 = €0.8952 as on October 12, 2026) in Q3 2026, compared with €18.280 billion (~$20.42 billion) a year earlier, while organic revenue increased 1 per cent year on year (YoY). The performance reflected gains in selective retailing, watches and jewellery, wines and spirits, and perfumes and cosmetics.

Luxury group LVMH posted Q3 2026 revenue of €18.504 billion (~$20.42 billion), as organic revenue grew 1 per cent amid softer China demand and uncertainty.
Selective retailing rose 8 per cent organically, driven by Sephora, while other divisions gained.
Fashion and leather goods fell 5 per cent organically to €8.245 billion (~$9.21 billion); Marc Jacobs and most DFS businesses were sold.

Selective retailing revenue totalled €4.070 billion (~$4.55 billion) in the quarter and rose 8 per cent organically, led by strong growth and market-share gains at Sephora, LVMH said in a press release.

China softness weighs on fashion and leather goods

Fashion and leather goods revenue was €8.245 billion (~$9.21 billion) in Q3, with organic revenue declining 5 per cent. The division continued to benefit from a buoyant US market but was affected by weaker demand in China. LVMH said creative renewal across its Maisons supported performance, with Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Loro Piana, Celine, Fendi, Loewe and Givenchy advancing new collections and retail concepts.

Other activities and eliminations generated revenue of €251 million (~$280.40 million) during the quarter. LVMH also completed the sale of Marc Jacobs to WHP Global on September 1, while most DFS businesses were sold.

LVMH retains brand-led strategy

Despite the uncertain economic and geopolitical environment, LVMH said it remained confident and would continue to enhance the desirability of its brands through product authenticity and quality, retail excellence and organisational agility. The group said it would draw on its brands and teams to reinforce its global leadership position in luxury goods during 2026.
