The Yellowjackets are finally heading home! But how do you explain what happened to everyone who didn’t make it back? Only time will tell…

Paramount+ has officially released a teaser for the psychological horror drama’s fourth and final season, premiering Nov. 20. After 19 months in the wilderness, the surviving teammates return to New Jersey carrying more than just the trauma of a plane crash.
After three seasons showing how thoroughly their adult lives have unraveled, rescue comes with an uneasy promise. We already know getting out of the woods doesn’t mean getting over everything that happened there.

The final season turns to the messy business of coming home, as the teens face a world that has no idea what they did to survive. But before that reunion can happen, they have secrets to protect.
Paramount+’s season description teases a scramble to hide the survivors’ actions before help arrives, while an old flame returns to town with her own agenda. Salvation, apparently, comes with some unfinished business.
That shift gives the show a particularly unsettling stretch to explore. Families have been waiting for these girls to return. Meanwhile, the girls have become people their families may struggle to recognize. How do you go back to everyday teenage life after everything the team has done to one another?

Since its debut, Yellowjackets has followed its stranded high school soccer players alongside their adult counterparts nearly 25 years later. The two timelines have turned survival into an ongoing reckoning, with friendships, romances and loyalties repeatedly tangled up in violence.
Now, the final season brings the younger survivors closer to the lives we’ve already watched them struggle to maintain.

The returning ensemble includes Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson and Hilary Swank. Guest stars include June Squibb, Elijah Wood, Molly Ringwald, Devon Sawa, Sam Braun and Dulé Hill.

Co-creators Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson return as showrunners and executive producers. Lionsgate Television produces the series for Showtime.
Yellowjackets Season 4 premieres Nov. 20 exclusively on Paramount+ with the Premium plan. Previous seasons are available on the service for anyone who needs to revisit the evidence before the final chapter.
