We are looking for experienced freelance publicists to work hybrid, supporting Brooklyn PR with press strategy specializing in one or more of the following beats:

The ideal candidates will have strong, active relationships with editors and writers across:
• Home and interior design
• Fashion
• Architecture and product design
• Lifestyle and consumer products
• Food, beverage, and culinary culture
• Hospitality, restaurants, and hotels
• Technology and innovation
• Relevant trade publications

Responsibilities:
• Execute targeted media outreach for products, brand news, and upcoming initiatives
• Develop compelling, customized pitches for different editorial categories
• Secure product features, design coverage, founder interviews, gift guides, trend stories, and trade coverage
• Manage media follow-ups, sample coordination, and editorial requests
• Identify timely press opportunities and relevant cultural or industry conversations
• Maintain organized outreach and coverage reports

Qualifications:
• Proven experience executing product-focused PR campaigns
• Established relationships with home, design, lifestyle, hospitality, food and beverage, technology, and trade editors
• Strong understanding of how to position premium kitchen appliances beyond traditional kitchen and food media
• Excellent writing, pitching, follow-up, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, move quickly, and provide consistent updates
• Experience working with premium, luxury, design-led, appliance, hospitality, or culinary brands is strongly preferred
