Rose Gray is stepping into summer with a new soundtrack.
The British pop artist returns with “Club To Your Arms,” an ecstatic dance-pop release that doubles as the first chapter of a new era. Arriving alongside a London-shot visual, the single captures a feeling that feels instantly familiar: leaving the chaos of a night out and racing home toward someone waiting at the end of it.
For Gray, that emotional pull was the whole point.
“I feel like I’ve been waiting most of my career to write this song,” she said in a statement. “I remember coming home after a show in London. I’d been out way too late, the birds were kinda singing and I’d lost my keys. I’ve lived nights like this over and over again, anticipating getting home into someone’s arms. I’m so ready for summer.”

Dancing Through The Feelings
If you’ve followed Gray’s rise, that balance between club euphoria and emotional storytelling won’t come as a surprise.
When I spoke with Gray ahead of the release, she described “Club To Your Arms” as a natural extension of the way she’s always approached making music.
“I’m so emo! But I also love dance music,” she told us. “With this record and most of my music to be honest I always balance the sonics with very narrative driven lyrics.”
That emotional lens turns an otherwise straightforward club anthem into something more intimate.
“You know magic hour traveling home from being out, sun coming up over your favourite city,” she continued. “Making your way home to your lover. It’s so sexy and cinematic.”
That image carries into the video, which Gray summed up simply:
“It’s sexy. It’s London. It’s summer. It’s cinema.”
A New Chapter Fueled By Joy
The release arrives during a stretch of momentum for Gray.
Following sold-out headline dates across North America and London, a breakout festival run and her recent collaboration with Demi Lovato on “Joshua Tree,” Gray says this moment feels different from earlier phases of her career.
“I feel like I’m really living my best life now,” she said. “I’m working very hard and playing hard.”
That shift is showing up in the writing.
“There’s so much to write about. I’m in love and it’s summer so I’m kinda in my happiest spot right now.”
Still, she doesn’t approach songwriting as pure escapism.
When asked how joy fits into her process, especially against heavier emotions, Gray said she isn’t interested in separating the two.
“It’s a balance. Some days it’s joy, some days it’s sorrow some days it’s both.”
Her goal instead is capturing everyday moments in a way that feels new.
“I always try to write things I’ve never heard before but explaining life’s simplest things. Like leaving the club to be in the arms of your lover… straight from the club to your arms.”
Built With Queer Community At The Center
Gray’s music has long found a home in queer spaces, something she doesn’t take lightly.
When I asked how LGBTQ+ fans have shaped her as an artist, her answer came quickly.
“I mean it’s everything to me.”
She pointed to both her audience and her personal life.
“[They were] a core part of my fan base before anyone else. My amazing friend group, the only club nights I will ever go to.”
That connection extends into how she thinks about live shows and the culture surrounding her music.
“I love my fanbase. Every show I’m just in awe of them,” she said. “The energy, the looks, the vibe.”
For Gray, creating environments where people can fully show up matters as much as the music itself.
“It’s so important for me to create a safe space for my fans to be free and party.”
The Fan Moment She Hasn’t Forgotten
One story in particular stayed with her.
Gray shared that she has a longtime fan from upstate New York who has spent years traveling across the country to attend shows.
“He dyed his hair red and always shows up for me. He even got a tattoo.”
But it wasn’t the commitment that hit her hardest.
“I watched a TikTok where he’s sat in a car crying after spending a weekend in New York at my shows,” she said.
“It touched me. I saw a lot of an old friend in him.”
Her takeaway was simple:
“He deserves the world.”
Summer Belongs To Rose Gray
With festival dates stacked across Europe and support dates lined up with Tove Lo later this year, “Club To Your Arms” feels less like a standalone release and more like a statement.
Gray built her debut era around the highs, heartbreak and release of the dancefloor.
Now she’s chasing what happens after the lights come on.
And if “Club To Your Arms” is any indication, she’s bringing everyone home with her.
