Hamilton Bohannon has died. The percussionist, bandleader, and music producer who started his music career as the drummer for a young Stevie Wonder in the mid-1960s passed away on Friday, April 24, as the Newnan Times-Herald reports. He was 78 years old. Bohannon grew up in Newnan, Georgia, a city 40 miles southwest of Atlanta.
