“That was by far the biggest announcement of my entire life,” she shared. “At that point, I think it was the biggest deal [I ever did]. It tied another deal I’d done in the spring.”

Lindsay—who has yet to reveal the identity of her boyfriend and her daughter’s father—welcomed Gemma on Dec. 8. Prior to the birth, she got candid about preparing to be the best mom possible amid her years-long estrangement from her own mother.

“I feel very blessed that I am having a girl, because I think that it gives me the opportunity to course correct and to break the cycle,” the Bravolebrity told Entertainment Tonight in October. “I’m now able to give my daughter things that maybe I didn’t have from my mother growing up. Or I’m able to take the experience that I had of things I wish happened with my mother and give those give those to my daughter.”

“I think it’s going to be a different type of healing that I never knew I needed,” she continued, “because I’ve done so much healing so far in therapy and abandonment work. I do feel blessed to be able to kind of close that chapter in a way I never knew I needed.”
