‘Slitterhead’ Receives Demo on PC, Consoles

Horror

If you’re still on the fence about Bokeh Game Studio’s Slitterhead over a month after its release (even after Aaron’s review), you can now dive into a demo for the game on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and the Xbox Series. And as an added incentive, you can grab Slitterhead with a 30% discount on PC for a limited time.

The demo will allow saved games made in the demo to be transferred to the full version of Slitterhead upon purchase.

Set in the densely cluttered streets of Kowlong, the story for Slitterhead casts players as the “Hyoki,” an entity devoid of memory and physical form. His only motive is to eradicate the monstrous beings known as “Slitterheads” that have infested the city, disguising themselves as humans.

Roaming Kowlong, Hyoki must seek out allies among humans known as “Rarities,” infiltrate and track dangerous organizations, and engage in battles harnessing the power of blood. As the story progresses, players will delve into the mystery behind Hyoki’s existence and the appearance of the Slitterheads.

Devoid of physical form, Hyoki’s ability allows him to possess and control human bodies at will, turning the people wandering the city into his pawns. With this power he can slip through barriers, assume the identity of specific individuals, and infiltrate dangerous areas and organizations. By rapidly switching hosts, he can also traverse the city at high speed.
