DJ Koze has enlisted Beatsteaks singer Arnim Teutoburg-Weiß and the Düsseldorf Düsterboys for a new song. They made “Wie schön du bist” in tribute to the German soul singer-songwriter Holger Biege, building around a line from his 1978 song “Bleib doch”: “Du hast erzählt, gelacht/Mir gezeigt, wie schön du bist.” Check it out below, via Koze’s Pampa Records.
“Wie schön du bist” follows this year’s “Highly Recommended,” a collaboration between Koze and the UK producer Gerry Read. News on a follow-up to 2018’s Knock Knock remains scarce, though a new full-length was due in 2024 when Koze released the Candidasa EP last year, a press release said at the time.
