Looks like the students at Millwood High will continue to keep their secrets. 

Max revealed Sept. 20 that the streamer has not renewed the reboot of Pretty Little Liars, instead opting to cancel the show after two seasons.

“While Max will not be moving forward with a third season of Pretty Little Liars,” the company said in a statement to TV Line, “we are so grateful to our co-creators, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, as well as the team at Warner Bros. Television, for reintroducing fans to this new iteration of liars who band together to fight the latest creepy villain terrifying Millwood.”

Max added, “Their unique and modern creative vision—combined with the immense talent of our cast and crew—gave the series a fun, horror-filled point of view that paid tribute to its original Rosewood roots.”

The revived show—initially titled Pretty Little Liars: Original Sinfirst premiered in July 2022 and saw ZariaMalia PylesChandler KinneyBailee Madison and Maia Reficco stepping into the roles of the five Liars.
