With Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP having a September release date, where does that leave the remaster of Grasshopper Manufacturer’s Shadows of the Damned? This Halloween, to be exact. Grasshopper Manufacture has announced that Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will arrive on October 31 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are now open, with the PlayStation version giving you three days of early access to the game.

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will include a New Game+ mode, support for 4K resolution at 60 fps, and four additional costumes: “Demonio Garcia,” “Ocho Corazones,” “Placa Garcia,” and “Kamikaze Garcia.”

Per the trailer, Suda 51 (No More HeroesKiller7Lollipop Chainsaw) and Shinji Mikami (Resident EvilThe Evil WithinGhostwire: Tokyo) will be attending this year’s Gamescom, so we could very well get more info on Hella Remastered at that time.

Originally released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2011, Shadows of the Damned put players in the boots of Garcia Hotspur, a hard-as-nails, leather-clad, motorcycle-riding professional demon hunter who finds his true love Paula has been kidnapped by vengeance-seeking demons. As he explores the furthest reaches of the netherworld, Garcia battles through Hell and back, with danger and turmoil around every corner.
