Booktok’s fantasies are slowly becoming a reality.

Amazon MGM Studios and production company Outlier Society have taken another step toward adapting Rebecca Yarros‘ book Fourth Wing into a TV show by officially naming Moira Walley Beckett as its showrunner.

The Breaking Bad producer—who won three Emmys for the show—will oversee the production and writing of Fourth Wing, which follows Violet Sorrengail as she joins the “graduate or die” Rider Quadrant at Navarre’s Basgiath War College and competes to the death to become a dragon rider and eventually a soldier.

“We can’t wait to bring this series to life,” Outlier Society wrote in a July 22 Instagram post announcing Beckett’s role. “See you all at Basgiath!”

And the production company—founded by Michael B. Jordan—wasn’t the only one celebrating the update. Yarros reshared the good news on her Instagram Story, while Beckett expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, writing on Instagram, “I am SO EXCITED to be adapting brilliant @rebeccayarros FOURTH WING into series!”

Concluding her message, the Anne With an E creator thanked Outlier and Amazon for trusting her to “bring this incredible book series to life!”
