But that’s not all they’ll wow fans with in what Paul called the hardest season to date. The duo will help many other patients in need this season, including a woman with a giant growth on her foot, a dog bite victim who lost the entire tip of her nose and a skin cancer survivor who went through a 10-hour procedure that left a substantial hole in her face.

“For me, I’m still working on patients, even after we’re done,” he revealed. “The tissue is called poor protoplasm, it’s falling apart and these patients are so unfortunate with what’s happened to them. A lot of it is genetic from trauma or they’re born with something or the botched type of surgery.”
