Sam Levinson is honoring Angus Cloud in the wake of the actor’s death.

Cloud died at age 25 on July 31, prompting an outpouring of tributes from his Euphoria family. Among those mourning the loss include Sam Levinson, who created the HBO series that sky-rocketed Cloud to stardom.

“There was no one quite like Angus,” Levinson said in a statement to Deadline following Cloud’s passing. “He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched.”

The 38-year-old added, “I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”

His cause of death hasn’t been shared.

Cloud was cast in Euphoria after being scouted on the street in Brooklyn. He appeared in two seasons of the drama—which also stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Hunter SchaferMaude Apatow and Jacob Elordi—as the kindhearted drug dealer Fezco.
