Teresa Giudice addresses rumors her, Luis Ruelas’ marriage is on ‘shaky’ ground

Teresa Giudice shut down rumors that her marriage to Luis “Louie” Ruelas is “on the rocks” and “shaky” ahead of their first anniversary.

“There’s no such thing,” the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star told co-host Melissa Pfeister on Wednesday’s “Namaste B$tches” episode from PodcastOne. “I love and adore him so much. Like, no. Nothing shaky.”

The Bravolebrity joked, “Maybe we shake together when we dance.”

When Pfeister noted that fans have been speculating Giudice, 51, and Ruelas, 48, would say their marriage wasn’t doing great for a “storyline” next season, the reality star issued another denial.

“No and, believe me, I don’t play like that,” Giudice said. “I play like what’s really going on in my life. … I don’t need a storyline. I have a lot going on.”

She admitted she “didn’t even know” about the marital rumblings until her co-host told her, explaining that she and Ruelas both “ignore” things written about them and “don’t even look at anything on social media.”

Although Pfeister didn’t specify where she heard the rumors, Life & Style magazine recently reported that the union is “in trouble” after Giudice picked up on Ruelas’ “red flags.”

Giudice has yet to respond to the outlet’s specific allegation but did confirm that they’re still happy as can be after tying the knot in August 2022.

“To us, everything is peaches and cream. It really is, because we’re still newlyweds,” she clarified.

Later in the episode, Giudice alluded to her and Ruelas’ ongoing feud with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, which reached its peak on Season 13 of the show.

“There was a lot of stuff thrown at us,” Giudice said. “I feel like people were trying to break us up, but [there is] not even a dent, thank God. Thank you, God.

“You gotta be grateful to God because any other guy would’ve run away so quick and been like, ‘I’m out of here, I’m done,’” she continued. “But he really does love me. I’m glad I’ve seen that because a lot has been thrown our way.”

Giudice and Ruelas met in the summer of 2020 and got engaged in October of the following year. She was previously married to Joe Giudice, with whom she shares four daughters.
