The “Nudista Mundial ’89” visual was inspired by the 1980s adult video game Leisure Suit Larry

Alan Palomo, best known for his work as Neon Indian, has released a new song under his given name. The single, “Nudista Mundial ’89,” features Mac DeMarco and comes with an over-the-top animated music video inspired by the 1980s adult video game Leisure Suit Larry. Find it below.

“While working on a few tunes, I was trying to get a hold of this certain piano,” Alan Palomo, who’s not released a Neon Indian song since 2019’s “Toyota Man,” said in a statement. “My keyboard player told me Mac had one at his studio so I hit him up. And on one breezy day in May, we sang a duet about two guys going to a nude beach together in Ibiza.”

Palomo produced “Nudista Mundial ’89” and handled the vocals, synthesizers, and drum programming. DeMarco also delivered vocals, as well as vocal engineering. The song was made with mastering engineer Heba Kadry and mix engineer Claudius Mittendorfer.
