To think Tony Soprano could have been a “Real Housewives” husband.
During Tuesday’s episode of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Jennifer Fessler claimed she once hooked up with the “Sopranos” star James Gandolfini.
The “friend” of the cast had no issues name-dropping the actor when the women asked her if she had slept with any celebs during her time as a talent agent.
Fessler went on to explain that they met before he rose to fame as Tony Soprano and became “obsessed” with his “sex appeal.”
“He actually took me to an S&M bar,” Fessler, 52, claimed. “It was crazy, we hung out, we drank, we went back to his apartment and we f–ked.”
She even joked that Gandolfini was “the one that got away, but it was also the one that was never really there.”
“But he absolutely was inside me that is a fact — more than once,” she added with a laugh.

Following his alleged brief encounter with the reality TV star, Gandolfini went on to have a legendary career that spanned 25 years. The actor died in 2013 following a fatal heart attack. He was 51.
In fact, Fessler remembered her reaction to his death, telling her cast mates, “When he died, I got so upset and Jeff [Fessler] was like, ‘You realize you weren’t in a relationship with him, right? Like we’re married.’”
Fessler, however, didn’t clarify when she had the brief fling with Gandolfini.
Gandolfini tied the knot with Marcy Wudarski in 1999, but they got divorced in 2002. He eventually moved on and got married to Deborah Lin in 2008.
On the other hand, Jenn married husband Jeff also in 1999 and the couple celebrated 24 years of marriage on Monday.
“Happy anniversary Superman! For 24 years you’ve been a glutton for punishment and I’m praying you never snap out of it. I love you @jeffreyjfessler !” Jenn captioned a photo from their wedding.
Jeff also celebrated the milestone by gushing about his “wild and crazy wife” in his own Instagram post.
“The best 24 years of my life,” he continued. “Love you tons.”
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
