Scandoval by osmosis. Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder joked that the cast drama is so pervasive, that even her unborn child is affected by it. Yes, of course, we are talking about the affair between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss. They were hooking up since the summer of 2022. Tom’s ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix found out after finding sexually explicit material of Raquel on her ex-boyfriend’s phone.
Following this drama is a full-time commitment. And the story is dynamic. So it’s no wonder that Stassi suggested her unborn son is absorbing some of the Scandoval juju. Also prophetic, Stassi and her husband Beau Clark announced the pregnancy shortly before news of the affair went viral.
According to Us Weekly, Stassi spoke of the effect the VPR drama is having in her life. She was a major cast member for ten seasons before getting fired in 2022 for racially insensitive remarks.
“Listen, it feels weird for me to even talk about all of the ‘Scandoval’ drama because it was such a big part of my life for all of my adult life for, like, 10 years and now it’s not a part of my life at all yet it’s everywhere I turn. It’s on my ‘For You’ page [on TikTok and] it’s all people are talking about,” Stassi explained. “I can’t escape it. It’s taken over my life.”
The Off With My Head author remarked, “Like, I feel like my unborn baby has been affected by ‘Scandoval.’ My unborn baby is gonna literally come out and [say], ‘Scandoval.’ I’m not joking, like, he’s getting the energy right now. I think it’s absolutely crazy.”

Stassi said that Tom’s actions were so despicable, that he will never garner sympathy with any potential explanation.
She said, “I mean, if you’re not Team Ariana, get the f—k outta here. Like, it shouldn’t even be a question. Is there somebody out there who’s like, ‘I’m Team Tom?’ Like, show me that person.”
Stassi has been on a promotional tour for her live show, Mommy Dearest. Of course, she was asked to comment on Tom’s illicit actions. But she also devoted an entire episode of her Straight Up With Stassi podcast to discussing all things Scandoval.
“I just was like, for one show only I am gonna talk about this and not hold back. And then I’m going to close the book and go about the regular scheduled programming that is my boring life right now, ”Stassi told Us Weekly.
Her pregnancy was planned, so it’s now a matter of integrating that aspect into her professional life. Luckily for Stassi, those hormones work wonders for her energy and concentration. She will continue her promotional tour through April.
“I [thought], ‘Actually, this is gonna be really fun.’ Because I feel like I’ll be way more focused, I’ll be way more motivated and there’s something that, like, happens when I get pregnant where I just feel like I want to do more, more, more, more,” Stassi revealed. “So, I just feel like this is gonna be a completely different experience than what it was like the first time I went on tour.”
