“Real Housewives of Miami” stars Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton believe their friendship with Adriana de Moura began to crumble after the pair was picked for “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” Season 3.
“We know why she doesn’t like us — because we got to go on ‘Ultimate Girls Trip,’” Patton, 56, says on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
“I told Alexia, ‘Don’t tell the girls because somehow Adriana will find out.’ We knew all the girls would be happy for us, but we knew Adriana would be pissed.”
During a “RHOM” cast trip to the Florida Keys, Patton and Nepola, 55, who have been close for decades, were told that Peacock wanted them to participate in the Thailand-set spinoff.
Nepola could hardly contain her excitement and shared the news with her castmates — against Patton’s warning.
“I was so excited because we had just found out that we’re going on the ‘Ultimate Girls Trip.’ I was happy that ‘Miami’ was going,” Nepola recounts, adding that she was proud to represent her franchise after it was rebooted following an eight-year hiatus.
“‘Miami,’ we just had one season and we come back, everyone’s loving us, we’re going with ‘Potomac,’ ‘Salt Lake City,’” she continues. “When I’m happy and I think you’re my [friend], I’m going to share my happy news.”
Patton claims that she noticed a shift in de Moura’s behavior once word got out.
“The minute she found out, we get to the Keys, [Nepoa gets] attacked on the bus and it never stops,” she says.
“I said, ‘She is going to find out, she is going to make us pay for it and we’re going to have a hellish season.’ And that’s exactly what happened.”
Season 5 of “RHOM” has seen Nepola and Patton engage in a series of heated exchanges with de Moura, 57.
The Alexia + Frankie’s Beauty Bar founder memorably accused de Moura of dating a married man when legal docs ultimately proved he was single, resulting in an explosive argument between the two women.
Most notably, though, Nepola took issue with de Moura for comparing a foot injury to the near-fatal car accident survived by her 26-year-old son, Frankie Rosello, in 2011. (De Moura later apologized to Nepola both privately and publicly.)

Additionally, Patton fought with de Moura after the “Feel the Rush” singer alleged that an ex of Patton told her that he “never loved” the retired publicist.
Nepola and Patton admit they were unable to find a resolution with de Moura during the three-part “Miami” reunion that is currently airing.
“Not even a 10-part reunion would fix my friendship with her,” Nepola quips.
Understandably, she and Patton were relieved to escape the “Miami” drama during “RHUGT.”
The duo developed particularly close bonds with “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” stars Heather Gay and Whitney Rose, who they hope can make amends despite the cousins’ ongoing feud.
“Heather and Whitney are family from before. [They] need to figure it out because they’re actually related and ended up on a show together and it makes me sad that they don’t [get along],” Patton says. “They need to figure it out.”
Nepola suggests that Gay, 48, and Rose, 36, should hash things out off-camera as their conflict only seemed to get worse after departing Asia last summer.
“I feel they have to find their own time and just make it about them two without the cameras. I know the viewers like to see everything but sometimes you’ve got to get to that place,” she explains. “I do think that they love each other.”
“Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” Season 3 begins streaming on March 23 on Peacock, while part three of the “Real Housewives of Miami” reunion drops the same day.
