‘Intense’ Lala Kent defends being ‘mean’ to Raquel Leviss on ‘Pump Rules’

Reality TV

Lala Kent is doubling down on lashing out to Raquel Leviss during the most recent episode of “Vanderpump Rules.”

“My words are intense. I got that,” the reality star admitted on her Instagram Story Thursday.

“Things I say at times are completely out of pocket. However, words are words. I’m about actions. Raquel was full of friendly words … her actions, not so much.”

Kent has faced backlash since Wednesday’s episode aired.

Fans claimed the Bravolebrity would’ve come off as a “mean girl” to “underdog” Leviss if her affair with Tom Sandoval had not been made public.

“Some of you act so brand new to me. You know the drill by now,” Kent said in response.

“I’ve never liked Raquel. She’s always triggered me. NOW WE KNOW WHY.”

The “Give Them Lala” podcast host, 32, owned the fact that she’s also made “many bad decisions in the past” before she began living a sober lifestyle in October 2018.

“I made decisions I was not proud of,” Kent said. “Things that wouldn’t have happened had I been clear and sober. It’s not an excuse, it’s fact.

“And unless you struggle with addiction you won’t understand, nor does your opinion have any place on this conversation.”

Kent and Leviss, 28, got into several heated conversations about relationships in the episode after Leviss told Kent it was a “good thing” she didn’t have a man she could steal.

The former pageant queen then dubbed the mother of one a “hypocrite” for criticizing her love life when Kent both hooked up with her ex-fiancé, James Kennedy, while they were still together and dated Randall Emmett before he was legally divorced from his ex-wife.

Katie Maloney – who struggled with Leviss having the hots for her ex-husband, Tom Schwartz, before their divorce was finalized – also got a bad vibe from Leviss.

“I’m starting to see a pattern in Raquel,” Maloney, 36, said in a confessional on the show. “It seems that she’s only interested in men that her friends are either married to or interested in, and that is a big red flag for me.”

Kent and Maloney have just been two of the “VPR” stars to speak about Leviss and Sandoval’s affair – dubbed “Scandoval” – since it made headlines earlier this month.

Sandoval, 40, was in a nearly 10-year relationship with Ariana Madix when he began having a “full-on affair” with Leviss, who was the couple’s close friend and co-star.

Madix, 37, dumped Sandoval after seeing a sexually explicit video of Leviss on her now-ex’s phone on March 1. Sources told us at the time that the sandwich shop founder found out the two had been “communicating inappropriately” since July 2022.

Both Sandoval and Leviss issued separate lengthy apology statements, and Madix spoke out about the affair for the first time earlier this week.

“I am so f–king lucky to have the best support system in the world and i hope i can repay every single person for the love you have shown me,” she captioned a solo shot of herself in Mexico for celebrity chef Michael Jenkins and Lauren Basco’s wedding.

Madix then cryptically ended her post by writing, “What doesn’t kill me better run.”

“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
