Ambyr Childers claims FBI is investigating ex Randall Emmett for pedophilia

Reality TV

Ambyr Childers claimed in a court filing that the FBI is investigating her ex-husband, Randall Emmett, for “suspected child exploitation and pedophilia.”

Childers, who shares two minor children with Emmett, made the explosive allegation in a signed declaration she submitted as part of a domestic violence restraining order request filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court in late December.

In the court documents obtained by Page Six, the actress, 34, alleged that the movie producer, 51, “is being investigated by the FBI for suspected child exploitation and/or pedophilia.”

Emmett denied the allegation, telling Page Six, “I am not being investigated by the FBI nor anyone else, and the notion that I am is beyond absurd.”

He continued, “Anyone can say whatever they want in a pleading; that doesn’t make it true. There is zero evidence that I’m being investigated for anything, and we still share 50/50 custody of our children. I am shocked and in utter disbelief that Ambyr would even hint at something so disgusting and untrue.”

In her filing, Childers claimed she learned of the alleged investigation on Dec. 6 when she “was contacted by a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation asking [her] questions about [Emmett’s] suspected activities with child exploitation and pedophilia.”

The Los Angeles Times reported Thursday that they spoke to three other individuals who claimed the FBI contacted them about Emmett’s activities.

A spokesperson for the FBI told us, “In keeping with DOJ policy, the FBI can neither confirm nor deny the existence of investigations.”

Childers said in her court declaration that the alleged “call” from the FBI agent caused her “extreme destruction and disturbance of [her] emotional calm and peace of mind.”

The LA Times reported that a judge granted the actress a temporary restraining order, which requires Emmett to stay 100 yards away from her, on Dec. 22. He is also prohibited from contacting her outside of a “brief and peaceful” conversation about their daughters.

Childers, who currently shares 50/50 custody with the filmmaker, went on to request “sole legal and physical custody” of London, 12, and Rylee, 9, “for a variety of reasons.”

As of publication time, her request for an amendment to custody and visitation has been denied until a Jan. 12 hearing, and the joint custody order for the exes’ children remains unmodified.

The “You” star argued in her court filing that Emmett’s “possible involvement in child exploitation and pedophilia, along with the fact that he is being actively investigated by federal law enforcement, dictates that he should not be allowed to have the children other than with a professional monitor.”

Childers further explained that she does “not want to run the risk” of the “Vanderpump Rules” alum having custody of their girls “only to have federal law enforcement serve either an arrest or search warrant on him or on his premises while the children are present.”

She believes such a scenario “would only further cause harm to both children.”

The actress had “no comment” when contacted by Page Six.

Childers began her most recent domestic violence restraining order petition by claiming that it “contains further incidents of abuse separate and apart from those contained in the prior October 25th request,” which a judge denied last month.

Emmett is also embroiled in a custody battle with “Vanderpump Rules” star Lala Kent, with whom he shares 1-year-old daughter Ocean.
