Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Isn’t Happening in 2022, Set to Return Next Year

The last incarnation of the festival took place in 2019

Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival will not return to Los Angeles in 2022, his manager Chris Clancy told Billboard. Plans are in place for the festival to return in 2023. “It’s really not that deep,” Clancy said. “Tyler toured all year and was busy with a number of projects. Reading the tea leaves and what’s happening with festivals coming out of the pandemic, we thought it would be best to come back next year.”

The last Camp Flog Gnaw was held in 2019. The lineup included Solange, FKA twigs, Juice Wrld, Brockhampton, and more. A surprise headliner was teased in advance without a name revealed, and a rumor began to circulate that Frank Ocean would perform. Instead, Drake came out and was eventually booed off stage by fans chanting for Ocean.

Tyler’s last album Call Me If You Get Lost earned him a Grammy this year. Today, it was announced that he’ll appear in the new season of Nick Kroll’s animated Netflix series Big Mouth.
