Brazilian pop singer Anitta has linked up with Missy Elliott for a new song called “Lobby.” The single marks the debut collaboration between the Brazilian pop star and hip-hop icon. The track arrives with a colorful music video directed by Arrad. Check it out below.

“Lobby” will appear on the deluxe edition of Anitta’s April album Versions of Me. The expanded album is out August 25 via Warner.

Earlier this month, Anitta was announced as one of the performers slated for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards alongside J Balvin, Panic! at the Disco, and more. The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 28 at Newark, New Jersey’s Prudential Center. In July, Anitta joined Murda Beatz, Quavo (of Migos), and J Balvin on the single “No Más,” which was co-produced by Murda Beatz and Pharrell Williams.

Earlier this month, a street in Missy Elliott’s hometown of Portsmouth, Virginia was renamed Missy Elliott Boulevard. Elliott also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last year and joined the inaugural class of the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame. She issued her Iconology EP in 2019. During that year’s MTV VMAS, Missy Elliott was honored with the Video Vanguard Award.
