Noella Bergener Is Leaving Real Housewives Of Orange County

Reality TV

Say what you will about Noella Bergener, but she was the only thing that was interesting about the last season of Real Housewives of Orange County. Heather Dubrow made her grand return to the show’s “Sweet Sixteen” season, but Noella carried the show on her back. Hate me in the comments if you will! But now it’s curtains for Noella.

Noella shared the news to her Instagram Stories that she will not be returning to RHOC for the next season. Fan account Queens of Bravo captured her announcement and shared it on their page. Noella wrote, “After a wild season of ups and downs, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Orange County.”

She continued, “Thank you to all of the fans for all the love and support during quite possibly the hardest year of my life.” Noella concluded with a pink heart, “I am looking forward to brighter skies ahead, and I can’t wait to share what’s next.” And that’s it. I was hoping for at least a full post from our Chaos Queen but I guess I’m out of luck.

While fans (and castmates) largely panned Noella as “thirsty” and “inauthentic,” I personally enjoyed what she brought to the table. Like I’ve said before, the last time someone came onto RHOC and gunned for the Top Dog, it was Meghan King taking down Vicki Gunvalson. So Noella filled a void for those that actually didn’t enjoy Heather’s brand of untouchable, buttoned up Housewife behavior.

Noella, the first Black housewife to join the franchise, was also loud and proud about her sexuality. Something that a few short years ago, we had never really seen on Housewives. Aside from being a pioneer, she was open and honest about her life spiraling in front of our eyes. Again, fans hated it, but being left by your husband and losing your dad when the cameras start rolling couldn’t have been easy.

Regardless, it didn’t translate. Noella had no allies and taking on Heather seemed to be biting off more than she could chew. While she tried to tell us that Heather allegedly pushed a cameraman and was an overall nightmare to work with, in the end, only two former RHOC Housewives backed her up. Off screen. And did I mentioned it was Kelly Dodd and Tamra Judge? Yeah, not the most reliable allies when you’re going after a fan favorite.

I’m not sure what “brighter skies” Noella is moving on to, but I do wish her the best. She would have made a great Bone Collector. And now who is Heather going to talk about?

TELL US – ARE YOU SURPRISED NOELLA WASN’T ASKED BACK? WHO DO YOU THINK WILL BE ON THE NEXT SEASON? DID ANYONE ELSE ENJOY NOELLA OR AM I THE ONLY ONE? TELL ME ABOUT IT IN THE COMMENTS!
