Selling Sunset Alum Lilly Ghalichi Gave Birth To Her Second Child With A Name Inspired By Kim Zolciak

Reality TV

Lilly Ghalichi and her husband Dara Mir welcomed their second baby together on Friday, June 24! Lilly posted to her Instagram, according to People, to make the announcement.

Lilly shared a black and white photo of herself with her new baby boy and wrote, “Kashton Mir. Born 6/24/22. Mom and Dad are so in love with you, your big sister adores you, and the World is ready to welcome you ‘Kash-Mir’!”

Lilly first announced that she and Dara would be adding a second baby to their family back in January. The couple already shared their three-year-old daughter Alara.

Kashton was delivered after doctors determined Lilly was experiencing “the early onset of HELPP Syndrome,” a complication that affects the blood and liver.

“Thankful to have baby delivered safely by @drthaisaliabadi after our team of amazing doctors recognized the early onset of HELPP Syndrome, something I had never heard of but is life threatening- we are so grateful,” Lilly added to her post. She even shared her experience on her Instagram story including videos throughout the induction and labor.

“Shaking, pain, trying to force the body into labor,” she shared in one story. She was in labor for over eight hours. But shortly after, according to reports, Lilly was able to assure her followers that her new baby had arrived “perfect and healthy.”

Now, I’ve buried the lede on this one. Lilly also shared that the name Kashton was inspired by none other than Kim Zolciak Biermann during Lilly’s first pregnancy. I’m just as baffled as you are. Lilly explained. “When I was pregnant with Alara, [Kim] told me, ‘OMG if it’s a boy name him Kash and his name with be ‘Kashmir.’ Well, it was a girl but this time we had a boy so we took her idea and my husband came up with ‘Kashton’ from there!” I actually don’t hate it.

Despite there being no confirmation from Bravo (yet), there is a strong chance that Shahs of Sunset has been canceled. One source reported that the show was “too expensive” to make. Another claimed that it wasn’t about the money at all and that the show had simply “ran its course.” You may have to slide over to social media to follow more about the life of Kash-Mir and Lilly!
