Whoopsie! It looks like Lala Kent is backtracking on some of her previous comments. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live earlier this month Andy Cohen asked Laler if she had met James Kennedy’s new girlfriend. It got shady from there.
Lala replied to the question saying, “I met her once” followed by “I don’t remember it well.” It was all in the tone. You had to be there. But if you weren’t here’s what Lala would like you to know:
“I didn’t call her forgettable. I said I didn’t remember a lot of our interaction and I think that’s because it was so fast, so I feel badly that it came across that way because that’s not how I meant it.”
According to Us Weekly Lala was nothing but gentle towards James’ new lady. And in case YOU forgot, her name is Ally Lewber. Lala provided an interview at Lisa Vanderpump’s new Vanderpump à Paris restaurant in Las Vegas. She called the new girl “really kind.”
“I only met her once, and the thing is, James even knows — he’s our little crazy friend that we love so much — he has a good picker. He picks really sweet girls.” All hail queen Raquel Leviss!
Lala also explained that things would be different between herself, James, and Raquel if Vanderpump Rules is picked up for Season 10. She said, “Obviously, with Katie [Maloney], it won’t be weird because that’s my ride or die so I’m down for her no matter what. With James and Raquel, that’ll be a different dynamic. I don’t know. I guess we’ll see what happens.”
Lala sang Raquel’s praises since her split with James. She said, “I think she’s really come into her own since her breakup with James and I would love to see her next season if there is one.” Lala also thinks Ally could be cast for VPR, apparently.
“If she’s still dating James and we get picked up, then, yeah, of course [Ally would be on the show],” Lala said. I wonder who else may be joining the cast. There are plenty of options for a plus one at this point.
