Single Dorinda Medley sees a third marriage in her future: ‘I’m ready’

Reality TV

Dorinda Medley is “ready” to walk down the aisle for a third time.

The single “Real Housewives of New York City” alum — who’s just starting to dip her toes back into the dating pool — tells Page Six in an exclusive interview that she does see another marriage in her future.

“I just decided this [on] 2/22/2022, I really decided to change, it’s all about change. I’m getting myself a new apartment. I’m going to move into a different area,” she says, adding with a laugh, “And I really think I will be married by the end of 2022!”

Jokes aside, the Nutrisystem ambassador says that she is looking for a life partner after realizing during the COVID-19 pandemic that “it’s not fun to be alone all the time.”

“That may sound weak,” she acknowledges. “I’m fine [being alone] and I have a ton of friends and I have a ton of family. But I think it’d be nice to have someone in your life to share it with again. I’m ready to come home to [a man].”

Medley previously dated businessman John Mahdessian for seven years before calling it quits in September 2019. She was married to hedge fund manager Richard Medley from October 2005 until his death at age 60 in November 2011.

She shares an adult daughter, Hannah, with her first husband, Ralph Lynch, though Hannah looked to Richard as a father figure.

Dorinda tells Page Six that these experiences — going through divorce and the death of her second spouse, all while raising a child — once deterred her from the thought of another wedding.

“I’ve been married and then widowed. I just really thought, ‘That’s it for me. That part of my life is over, enough is enough. I’ve raised a daughter,’” the “Make It Nice” author shares. “But I don’t think that way anymore.”

Dorinda quips that she could become the “Elizabeth Taylor” of her Massachusetts hometown, referencing the late Hollywood icon’s many headline-making marriages.

“I think I’ve got one more in me. I might be a three-timer! Who would’ve thunk it?” she says. “The little Catholic girl from Great Barrington.”

Dorinda tells Page Six that there are only a few prerequisites her next husband must meet.

“I need someone that makes me laugh. I love to have a fun time. I need someone that’s kind,” she says. “I just want someone that is going to be a partner in life.”

Dorinda adds that potential suitors don’t have to be willing to appear on camera — should she be asked to partake in the forthcoming “RHONY: Legacy” series that Andy Cohen announced this week.

“It depends on the person. I think handled correctly, [it could work] but it’s not important. It’s not a criteria that they would be on,” she notes. “I think it’s always better if people authentically know you.”

The SiriusXM Radio Andy host says she admires the way “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jackie Goldschneider’s husband, Evan Goldschneider, approaches his role on the show.

“I really love the way people like Evan on ’New Jersey’ handles it, how people are involved but they’re not overly involved,” she says. “That’s the key, I think, if you can have a sprinkle and allow people to see your life. I think it gets a little creepy when they get too engaged with the storyline.”

Still, Dorinda — who will appear on Season 2 of Peacock’s “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” spin-off — always appreciated what her ex Mahdessian, 54, brought to his succession of “RHONY” appearances.

“John was so camera-worthy. John was great TV because he was strangely, unawarely aware of the cameras but never let us down,” she says of the outspoken Madame Paulette owner. “It was just such great TV.”

Dorinda joined the cast of “RHONY” in 2015 during Season 7 and lost her golden apple in 2020 after Season 12.
