Jennifer Aydin called her husband, Bill, a “f–king p–y” for not defending her during her physical altercation with Melissa Gorga.
“Listen, Bill was a f–king p–y,” she confided to Dolores Catania after a workout on Tuesday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” “[He] didn’t say one word all night.”
Gorga and Jennifer’s year-long feud reached a boiling point after the latter called her husband, Joe, a “little bitch girl” in last week’s episode.
“Yeah, I’m f–king mad at Bill,” Aydin told Catania. “He just stood there and said nothing — it’s just, I would’ve liked something.
“For 10 years, I’ve been putting him on a f–king pedestal. If I saw people ganging up on him, I would’ve been like, ‘With all due respect, if you disrespect my wife, you disrespect me.’ It’s like he’s already betrayed me once, and now here he is he’s doing it again.”
Catania, 51, then theorized that Aydin, 44, may still be holding onto anger from her plastic surgeon husband’s decade-old affair with a pharmaceutical rep that resurfaced earlier this season.
“I’m at the point right now, Dolores, where I’m just numb,” she continued while tearing up. “I’ve dealt with this in the only way that I knew how which was if I decide to forgive him, then I’m going to move on and never talk about it again.”
Catania told Aydin that she sees “a lot of pent-up hurt” inside her.
“Being cheated on when you’re pregnant viscerally hurts you,” Catania said, referring to Aydin discovering the affair shortly before she gave birth to her fourth child, Christian, 10.
“The life that you loved — the Cinderella dream — just got f–king thrown off a cliff, so I want to tell you that you still may be very angry with him over what happened,” added Catania, whose ex-husband Frank Catania also cheated on her when she was pregnant.
However, Aydin admitted that she doesn’t “know how to deal with it” all these years later, since she “already decided to move on” and doesn’t know if it’s “OK for me to change my mind now.”
“If it’s something you need to deal with, your husband is a very reasonable man,” Catania assured her. “I think speaking to him would be cathartic.”
Aydin carefully agreed and said that having an honest conversation with her husband could be “the next step.”
