Tips for Beginner Players of Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 Faction Guide

After collecting enough GRE Inhibitors, players will have a choice between upgrading Health or Stamina. It is highly recommended to increase Stamina as it is used during Parkour and Parkour Activities. For certain Activities and parts of the Main Storyline, players will need a Minimum amount of Stamina to complete Parkour Puzzles. So to be able to complete all the Activities and Main Campaign, players should Spec into Stamina first above all else. A good threshold for Stamina is 300 minimum. In addition, side Activities such as Windmills, Nightrunner Hideouts, and Broadcast Antennas will require the player to have a minimum amount of Stamina before completing them.

Collecting materials early on will give players a head start in upgrading and crafting weapons to make fights easier. Also, when scavenging, players will collect valuables that can be sold at Merchants in Safe Zones like the Bazaar in Dying Light 2 for a large sum of coins. Merchants offer very useful equipment and materials that are needed to survive night incursions. Make sure to stock up on Immunity Boosters and Medicine Bandages, as these are essential to survival and make Night Exploration much easier. Players should also refrain from purchasing Melee Weapons from the Merchants as they are a big money waster. Melee Weapons can easily be found when exploring and playing the Main Campaign. On the other hand, Armor can be purchased as it does not break over time and can increase Gear Score. Which in turn helps players reach Max Rank, Level 9.
