This year, much of Aaliyah’s music arrived to streaming services for the first time. A posthumous album from the singer is next, and on Friday (December 17), a new single called “Poison” will be released via Blackground Records 2.0 and Empire. It features the Weeknd. Find the single artwork below.

Barry Hankerson, Blackground founder and Aaliyah’s uncle, told Billboard earlier this year that the new album would feature the Weeknd, Drake, Future, and others. The streaming releases this year arrived amid a dispute between Hankerson and the Estate of Aaliyah Haughton.

It’s notably one of two significant features from the Weeknd to arrive on the same night. He also appears on FKA twigs’ new song “Tears in the Club,” which is out on Thursday night (December 16). It follows his recent singles with Rosalía and Post Malone.
