Heather Dubrow Explains Why She Will “Never” Join Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip

Reality TV

The Season 16 premiere of Real Housewives of Orange County started out with a catch-up session with Heather Dubrow and her family. The kids have grown up so much since we last saw them five seasons ago. RHOC co-stars Gina Kirschenheiter and Shannon Beador were given a tour of Heather’s $21 million Newport Beach manse. Gina loved it, and Shannon clearly did not. Shannon was jealous of that champagne doorbell and those cozy towel warmers.

Bravo shook up the cast and fired Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, and Kelly Dodd after Season 15. Emily Simpson, Shannon, and Gina stayed on for Season 16, joined by newbies Jennifer Armstrong and Noella Bergener.

It was refreshing to watch an episode that was free of the turbulence created by Braunwyn and Kelly. Unfortunately for Heather, Kelly has continued to act out on social media since her firing. Her most frequent target is Heather.

Heather spoke out on Kelly’s childish heckling, saying it “just seems sad, pathetic.” The RHOC star added, “Kelly seems to talk about me a lot, so at this point I don’t know whether to be really flattered that she’s so obsessed with me or sad for her that she has no other content.”

Meanwhile, the Housewives mash-up series Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is airing on Peacock. The ladies from different franchises are partying it up in an $11.5 million property in Turks and Caicos. Of course, there is plenty of drama. Ramona Singer and Real Housewives of Atlanta peach Kenya Moore bumped heads immediately. “She cursed at me within 30 minutes of meeting her. I’m not going to get along with someone who is just so blatantly disrespectful,” Kenya said of Ramona.

If you were hoping that you might see Heather popping the champs on a future season of RHUGT, I have some disappointing news. HollywoodLife reported that Heather discussed the possibility of joining the new franchise on its Pay Attention Puh-Lease podcast. “Never. It’s never happening. I think it’s a phenomenal idea and I am not judging it at all,” Heather stated. “It looks fun, and I haven’t watched it yet … it’s just not my thing.”

Heather explained that handling the drama on a normal season of Housewives is “so hard.” She continued, “At least, you know, with one group of people that I know, and this is an authentic group that I have friendships with and relationships with is one thing, but to go off … I don’t know, it sounds like too much anxiety for me!”

Heather also chatted about Season 16 of RHOC. “I think we’ve made a really good season,” Heather said. “I think the audience is going to be incredibly satisfied and it’s what I think they were asking for and in that way I think it’s great.” The actress added, “It’s a transitional season in the best way and it ends in a way that I’ve never ended a season before, so I think it’s gonna be great.”

When asked if Heather would entertain the notion of returning for another season, she responded that she “couldn’t say.” The RHOC star added, “Ask me again in a few months!” I’m crossing my fingers that we get another season of Fancy Pants and her mega-mansion.

TELL US- ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT HEATHER DOESN’T WANT TO BE ON A FUTURE SEASON OF RHUGT? WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE RHOC SEASON PREMIERE?
