Troye Sivan had the wind taken out of his sails when his Miami concert was abruptly shut down due to a noise complaint in the neighbourhood.

The “Bloom” singer was in town on Monday (November 30) to perform at Architectural Digest‘s AD100 party in celebration of Art Basel Miami. The performance had been promoted by event sponsor Lenovo and was being livestreamed to fans on TikTok.

In screen recording of the TikTok livestream, Sivan, unaware of why the sound system had been cut, can be heard announcing the show’s sudden end to the crowd: “OK, I guess that’s the end. I’m sorry, we’re getting kicked out!”

Clearly confused by what was going on, he continued: “I don’t really know what’s going on but… should I leave?

“Thank you everyone. And if you’re watching on TikTok, I don’t know what the f**k’s going on, sorry!”

After the show, the Australian singer took to Twitter to explain to fans that the City of Miami had demanded the show end immediately. “GUYS lol wtf the city shut down the show,” Troye Sivan wrote.

“Okay so basically i played 5 songs tn and Angel baby was the LAST ONEEEE and the only one being streamed live on tiktok”.

“But then turns out throughout the show we got a noise complaint and the city literally came and shut down our speakers during Angel Baby

“I’m sorry to anyone who woke up at a weird time to watch the stream,” the pop star continued. “i feel fine about it and had fun until then lol but I’m sorry if it was a mess to watch from home.”

Troye Sivan was recently announced to be taking part in an upcoming HBO mini-series entitled The Idol. The series is being executive produced by The Weeknd, and will also feature Anne Heche and Saved By The Bell star Elizabeth Berkley.

It is also believed that Britney Spears will make an appearance in what would be her first professional endeavour post-conservatorship.
