Peter Weber not interested in ‘Bachelor’ return, would rather hunt ghosts

Reality TV

Returning to “The Bachelor” is a scary thought for Peter Weber.

“For me, it wasn’t the most organic way to really cultivate a real, real relationship,” the New York City-based pilot – who led Season 24 of the ABC dating series – exclusively told Page Six in a new interview.

“It was too many distractions that I wouldn’t want to subject myself to again in the future.”

As viewers will recall, the California native gave the show his best effort in 2020, but his relationships with several contestants, including Hannah Ann Sluss, Madison Prewett and Kelley Flanagan, ultimately dissolved.

When asked if he would ever consider reprising his role like Season 11 and Season 15 star Brad Womack did, Weber assured us, “No.”

Instead of searching for a wife these days, a happily single Weber, 30, is on the hunt for ghosts alongside celebrity medium Jonathan Mark.

After connecting on Weber’s “Bachelors in the City” podcast earlier this year, the two made a pact to meet up in Manhattan, where they eventually sought out spirits with a group of friends the first week of October.

“He had this great idea to go do this ghost tour. I was actually, not going to lie, a little tentative,” Weber said, recounting his initial feelings about the Greenwich Village excursion.

“I kept thinking, ‘Eh, should we do this? Is this a good idea?’ But Jon [told me], ‘Rest assured, you’re going to be good, you’re going to be fine.’”

All was “fine” — until Mark’s psychic abilities helped him spot the face of a man in a centuries-old tombstone at a downtown cemetery.

It wasn’t long before Weber’s podcast co-host, roommate and fellow “Bachelorette” Season 15 alum Dustin Kendrick saw a shadowy figure move across the gravesite. The bone-chilling moment, captured on camera, can be seen in Page Six’s exclusive video footage above.

“It was super creepy. I do this every day and it still creeped me out,” said Mark, who has connected everyone from Kanye West to Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt with their departed loved ones.

“This was my first time ghost-hunting. I didn’t know what it truly entailed,” he continued, adding that it “differs” from his typical work as there isn’t a living being to instantly validate his readings.

“That’s why we asked to have [a tour guide] who was well-versed in [the] locations [we scouted] because … I needed someone to validate [what I was picking up] instead of throwing stuff [out there] and hopefully have it stick.”

Mark, who realized his “gift” around age 4 and now uses it to help the FBI and NYPD solve cold cases, told us that he and Weber hope to keep the spooky vibes going well beyond Halloween — maybe even on a new reality series

“Definitely possibly doing a TV project right now. It’s in the works,” said the bicoastal clairvoyant, who splits his time between New York and Los Angeles. “We’re doing something a little bit separate than the ghost-hunting, but I’m not opposed to doing this with Pete and Dustin and everyone. We’re in talks with doing that right now, too.”

Weber, who has long believed in the supernatural realm, said that he would jump at the chance to pursue such a project.

“Definitely, I’m curious,” he said, adding that he would next like to explore haunted buildings with Mark.

“We didn’t go inside anywhere. It was just kind of outside adventures. But maybe [to] go see some places inside would be interesting … I’ve always believed in that kind of stuff. I’ve not been too skeptical. And Jon’s definitely got a gift.”
