Craig Conover Reacts To Madison LeCroy’s Engagement News

Reality TV

Congratulations are in order for Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy, who recently announced her engagement to new beau Brett Randle. Madison’s whirlwind romance with Brett started only a few months ago, but according to fellow castmate Craig Conover, Madison has been delighted about her budding relationship.

In an interview with People, Craig had nothing but positive words for Madison’s recent engagement, “I’ve seen her a lot the past few weeks and she told me she was really happy,” he says. “I know they’ve only been dating for a couple of months but hey, to each their own. I don’t think traditional relationships have worked for either of us.”

Viewers may be confused by Craig’s kind words regarding Madison’s engagement, given their not-so-friendly encounter during Southern Charm’s Season 7 reunion. Craig did not hold back while defending his pal and fellow Southern Charm castmate, Austen Kroll. In preparation for the Season 7 reunion, Craig planned to hold Madison accountable for her alleged mistreatment of Austen during their on-again-off-again romance and even accused Madison of sleeping with a well-known former MLB player.

However, to the surprise of Southern Charm fans, Craig spoke of the current state of he and Madison’s friendship and went on to say, “Madison and I are fine. Unless you’re dating her or she’s dating your best friend, she’s really cool,” he jokes. “We’ve known each other for 10 years and really do love each other and we’re in a good place right now.”
