‘RHOSLC’ Whitney Rose accuses Lisa Barlow of ‘sabotaging’ LGBTQ+ event

There’s more bad weather in Utah.

Whitney Rose accused Lisa Barlow of “sabotaging” mutual pal Angie Harrington’s LGBTQ+ charity event in Sunday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”

The drama began when Harrington told Rose that her caterer — a longtime business associate of Barlow’s — abruptly canceled on Harrington after word got out that she had struck up a friendship with Barlow’s enemy Rose.

“Lisa’s sabotaging you,” Rose told Harrington, later telling the camera, “I may be blonde but I am not stupid. This is not a coincidence.”

Harrington — who shares a transgender child with husband Chris and planned the party to benefit the LGBTQ+ nonprofit Encircle — told Rose, who is also her cousin, that she would be “devastated” if Barlow had anything to do with the catering cancelation.

At the casino-themed event, Rose received an icy hello from Barlow. However, the Vida Tequila founder seemed delighted to see Harrington and offered her a warm greeting.

“There’s nothing worse than being at a party with no food,” Barlow quipped at one point, causing one to wonder if she was indeed responsible for the fête’s lack of hors d’oeuvres.

Regardless, it should be noted that Barlow is a fierce advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and expressed the utmost enthusiasm when a partygoer donated $1 million to Harrington’s cause.

Later, Harrington pulled Barlow aside and asked her if she had any involvement in the caterer’s decision to pull out last minute. According to Harrington, the caterer chose to skip the charity gig mere “hours” after telling Barlow about her recent get-together with Rose.

“I don’t know what to say. Angie, I don’t know what to tell you. I don’t know how this has anything to do with me, though,” said Barlow, who did acknowledge discomfort at Harrington’s burgeoning relationship with Rose.

Harrington later admitted in a confessional that she believed Barlow was “capable of meddling in my event because she doesn’t want me to be friends with Whitney.”

The pair’s argument escalated quickly and soon castmates Jen Shah, Meredith Marks and Rose arrived to share their input. Rose’s presence did not sit well with Barlow, who immediately asked her to leave.

Rather than make an exit, though, a defiant Rose claimed that Barlow implored Harrington not to follow her on social media or acknowledge that they are related.

(Earlier in the episode, Barlow joked that Harrington and Rose were “inbred polygamy cousins.”)

Barlow clarified that she was simply warning Harrington to stay away from Rose.

“You and Heather [Gay] were relentless with me,” Barlow told Rose directly, recalling the two-on-one feud from Season 1. “So, I was like, ‘Why are you seeking out a friendship with this person that’s going for me?’”

Barlow then called out Harrington for breaking their confidence by detailing private conversations to Rose. “I don’t need it!” Barlow cried, attempting to walk away. “This is hurtful. Why are we doing this?”

But Rose didn’t buy it. “I have a PhD in Lisa’s behavior. When Lisa’s screaming, it’s because she’s being challenged. When Lisa cries, it’s because she doesn’t want to deal with it,” she said in a confessional.

“And when Lisa walks away, it’s because she’s guilty and has been caught redhanded.”

Barlow took to Twitter Sunday night and suggested that not all sides of the story were captured by Bravo.

“I hope all of my cousins will be live-tweeting episode 4 with me tonight!” she wrote, owning her “cousins” comment. “Watch as lies are ‘cooked’ up…..  and we all know – ‘I don’t cook.’ #RHOSLC.”

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Sundays on Bravo at 9 p.m. ET.
