I cannot remember a time that I’ve been so excited for a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion. Denise Richards’ alleged hookup drama and #bunnygate were child’s play. Erika Jayne being forced to answer questions about her divorce, her legal woes and her behavior toward everyone who isn’t Lisa Rinna is the real deal. The reunion has already been filmed. According to Andy Cohen, Erika answers all the tough questions about Tom Girardi’s embezzlement allegations, but I’ll believe it when I see it. For now, all we really know is that the reunion glam is not Camille Grammer approved.
Garcelle Beauvais and Kathy Hilton, alongside the small town WARRIOR that is Sutton Stracke, have been the best parts of RHOBH this season. Kathy brings the jokes and stirs the pot. While Garcelle and Sutton aren’t afraid to ask the tough questions and call out people for being wrong. Or in Garcelle’s case, call out Teddi Mellencamp for making a not-so-welcomed appearance during this season. So I can’t wait to see Sutton call out Erika’s threatening behavior. Or Garcelle and Dorit Kemsley go head-to-head on the reunion stage.
Garcelle and Kathy recently spoke to Radar Online to tease the upcoming reunion. Garcelle said, “It’s juicy, it’s dramatic. It’s sad, it’s touching. It’s everything.” While vague adjectives usually ring hollow in my ears, I believe Garcelle when she says there’s a whole lot going on.
Kathy chimed in to add that the reunion is “heartbreaking,” to which Garcelle agreed. I wonder if it’s heartbreaking because they are falling for Erika’s charade. Or consider it heartbreaking to see her post ridiculous Instagram snaps in designer clothes while orphans and widows are begging Tom for their money back (allegedly, as Miss Jayne says). I need Sutton to add some context to these adjectives.

I also feel like even though the reunion will be everything, there will still be lingering questions. Erika’s been smacked with a $25 million lawsuit that we won’t see the truth about until the case appears before a judge. Also, Tom recently gave a statement insinuating that Erika might have known about his financial troubles before they became public, which would only make sense.
Andy might have to do a part 2 on Watch What Happens Live with Erika to ask a few follow-ups. Even though her answers probably wouldn’t scream honest. Better yet, have Sutton be the point person to give fans the scoop on the ins and outs of the courtroom and everything going on in the press. We know that girl isn’t gonna back down from reading every article she can to get down to the truth.
