Rihanna has dropped the lawsuit she filed against her father, Ronald Fenty, for misusing her name, as Radar Online reports and Pitchfork can confirm. Filed in early 2019, the case had been set to go to trial on September 22. Pitchfork has contacted Rihanna’s representatives for comment.

In the original suit, Rihanna had claimed that her father and his business partner, Moses Joktan Perkins, had used their company Fenty Entertainment to overstate their business connections with the singer. She had also accused her father of booking shows without her authorization, and her attorneys claimed that Fenty and Perkins had ignored multiple cease and desist requests.
