Perry’s next Madea movie is said to be called A Madea Homecoming, which has reportedly been in quiet development since fall of 2020. The movie will be landing on Netflix next year. It’s a huge surprise but, as Tyler Perry shared, he has been inspired by the tragedy many of us have faced in the U.S. This includes the effects of the global pandemic, a divided election year and heightened cultural social awareness of the deep seated racism in the country following the death of George Floyd and other incidents. Yeah… too much is right.
