Erika Jayne’s Lawyers Quit After Hulu Documentary; Counsel States “The Relationship Is Irreparable”

Reality TV

Erika Jayne

Good news, everyone! Mikey Minden can stop pouring through Erika Jayne’s remaining wardrobe for an appropriate “moment” designed to confuse the prosecution with high-art glamour and questions about shoulder pads. We might be on standby because the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Birdbrain of Alcatraz star has hit another wall. Get your popcorn and cocktails, but longtime EJ fans may want to take a deep breath.

It really is like a movie script. A cinematic noir about stealing money from innocent victims and sinister charges of fraud. Filmed under the haze of Vaseline and the occasional waft of burned hair. Or it could be another day in the life of Erika. She’s suffering some radioactive fallout from the recent Hulu documentary covering tricky accounting methods with Tom Girardi. Erika is trying to get out of being on the hook for most some of Tom’s debt and fighting to retain assets before the only public appearance on her calendar is the Pink Pig Swap Meet in Crawford County, Arkansas. On today’s show, the hills are alive with the sound of… attorneys running far, far away from Erika.

The Puppygate Girl Gang evolved into the Fox Force Five, and no, I cannot believe they named themselves either, but here we are. The group might be losing a founding member as more dirt is uncovered on Erika. Kyle Richards may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but she has been in this game for 100 years and she is no dummy. As soon as things get bad, she will nope the hell out of there with Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave in her Louis Vuitton fanny pack. It will be interesting to see how tight this group “bond” really is. Because, you know, The Agency certain businesses will soon not want to be associated with someone of an unsavory nature and Erika seems to have a thing about loyalty.

Thanks to The Hustler and the Housewife, lawyers representing Erika have pulled a Lisa Vanderpump/Denise Richards double whammy and left the building. Page Six has the details. Dinsmore & Shohl LLP filed paperwork to withdraw as Erika’s counsel in Big Tommy’s bankruptcy case. The firm claimed it told EJ no later than Monday. RING RING! Hello? Everyone, Karma is on the phone and she wants you to know she’s gonna go ahead and blow things up because she just finished with Real Housewives of Orange County and has some extra time.

Court documents show, “the relationship of trust and confidence that is essential to a properly functioning attorney-client relationship has broken down and, in the good faith assessment of counsel, the relationship is irreparable.” Translation, they either think she’s hiding something or they think she’s lying. Allegedly. No word on whether or not Sutton Stracke released a statement saying, “Erika by the way, This Is whaTTT, This Is whaTTT.”

Erika’s now former team advised her to get a new lawyer like yesterday. “The potential consequences of not timely securing replacement counsel” could have very negative consequences for her. Bet she’s giving allllll of the fucks right about now. Attorney and honorary diamond-holder Ronald Richards posted photos of the law firm’s request to withdraw on Twitter. Ronald also said this is an “extraordinary step” on behalf of Erika’s counsel.

The documentary causing Erika this new problem gave a face to the victims she and Tom allegedly profited from. It also pointed out Erika was listed on some of Big Tommy’s LLCs and that funds were transferred to EJ Global. Fun Fact: If you watched, you might have noticed a song by Culture Club featured on the program. By law, you have to obtain permission to use a copyrighted song, such as Karma Chameleon. The lead singer of Culture Club is Boy George and both are currently managed by Dorit Kemsley’s husband, PK Kemsley, former target of #pantygate. We see you PK! I suppose he thinks revenge is best served cold, inherently cold.
