Ginger Minj is back on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6, all ready to slay, and we are here to share some fascinating facts about the Drag Race alum’s life. Feeling that she was treated unfairly during her last stint, and blaming an elimination on terrible partnerships and wardrobe, Ginger has let the world know that she is coming back to win. She won’t let anyone stop her. Time will tell if this queen will own the runway, as she has while building her career.
When not in outfits and makeup, Ginger Minj is Joshua Allen Eads, who composes music, acts, and performs. Eads started out as a child actor but later did stage work, including performing in a Clandestine Productions’ rendition of the play Avenue Q. The play is a raunchy Sesame Street parody about life lessons. When she first appeared on the show, her wig was brunette and her steps were smaller. Now, Ginger struts with bright orange hair and a confident smile. Ginger made it to the top three in season seven, and fans believe that she lost by a narrow margin to the winner, Violet Chachki. Her first All Stars run didn’t go well. In season two, she was eliminated in episode three, owing to the outfit that had been assigned to her. Ginger pushed on, continuing to perform. When the Mathis Ellis Performing Arts Center staged Into the Woods, she contributed by voicing the Giant.

Ginger feels that doing All Stars was an obligation, rather than a desire. Fans felt that she was robbed of her chance to win. She was asked to come back when she just wasn’t ready. This time, Ginger wants to be back in front of the camera, and that will drive her to win. She says that she did her best with what the show had given her in season 3 and that no one let her forget the outfit, which was terrible. Ginger admits that she has to learn how to trust herself, not just with outfits but also with career choices. There was no discussion about how she would improve herself to make a better season.
The big concern is that Ginger claims that she doesn’t understand the drama on the show. RuPaul’s Drag Race, however, is all about drama.
