Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has arrived! Still, I’m skeptical about this season. It is clear that RHOBH likes to focus on one story the entire season, and it’s also clear this doesn’t work. From panty-gate to puppy-gate to various “mean girl” pile-ons, RHOBH has struggled to keep up with the fast-paced nature of other Housewives series. I’m somewhat hopeful they’ll deliver this year considering everything with Erika Girardi, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
The common denominator of the last few bad seasons might be Lisa Rinna. Last season, she proved that she’ll throw a friend of 20 years under the bus for camera time and a paycheck. Plus, Rinna’s “own it” mantra has become stale. She made it clear in last week’s episode that she owned her awful behavior towards Denise Richards because she feared Garcelle Beauvais would come after her. Now, she’s telling Denise to get over it all.
In an exclusive interview with Access, Rinna dished about the current season, Scott Disick, and of course, Denise F*cking Richards. Caution – Rinna’s obnoxious sunglasses might force you to look away while watching the interview. At one point, the interviewer asks if Rinna’s reached out to Denise, and Rinna replied, “I have not.”
She went on to say that she thinks “time will tell where that will go. You know?I have [moved on].” Then Rinna pretends that she’s been enlightened, saying, “we’ve had a very difficult year, I think, with covid, with what we’ve all been through. There’s a much bigger picture going on and that’s kind of the way I like to live in the moment. In this moment, let’s move on. Life is short. It’s short. So, moving on. Moving on.”

I get Rinna wanting to move on from acting like a total ass with a score to settle. But she shouldn’t tell Denise to move on from something that could have been really damaging. Bottom line, I’ll always be Team Denise.
I don’t care if she had sex with Brandi Glanville and lied. It’s that Rinna was so quick to take down a friend – for something that wasn’t ever her business – to ultimately avoid speculation into her own life, for yet another season. Let’s TALK ABOUT THE HUSBAND!!
