More information about the 1.6 update for Genshin Impact has surfaced online, including everything about the next five-star character, Kazuha. Thanks to the efforts of data miners, fans now have access to all the information about the next major Anemo character to be added to the game.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play RPG that has taken the gaming world by storm. It’s has had massive success since releasing back in late 2020, with the game making over $1 billion in revenue in just under six months. The game has over 30 different characters to unlock, each of whom has a unique combination of elemental magic and weapon abilities. Characters are unlocked through gacha mechanics, with players able to pay for or earn Wishes, with each roll giving a chance to unlock a new character. Limited-time banner events are run that feature specific pools of characters for limited periods of time, adding urgency to unlocking rarer characters while they are available.

Dataminers have managed to find the next five-star character that will be added in the 1.6 update, Kazuha, who wields the power of Anemo and uses a sword. Kazuha was first uncovered five months ago by a Redditor drakolla911, but was called Tohama at the time. While more data has been found on Kazuha by data miners, this information comes from Twitter user Zeniiet, who has listed all of the current information about the new character in a tweet. While the update is slated for June, there is no official confirmation from developer miHoYo as of yet that this new character will be added at this point.

Kazuha uses Anemo, with an Anemo vision located on their back, and a sword to fight. They use an AoE attack that gathers enemies together for easier targeting and crowd control. All of Kazuha’s stats and some of their Ascension materials have been leaked, as well. According to the data miners, Kazuha will need similar items to Kaeya and Bennett, along with some unreleased materials that are sure to be in the new zone unlocked in 1.6, the islands of Inazuma.
If this information came from a beta tester, then it can be considered reliable, but it shouldn’t be taken at face value until then. More information about Genshin Impact‘s 1.6 content is undoubtedly coming sometimes after players begin to burn their way through April 28’s 1.5 update, so players can expect to learn more about Kazuha (if anything) soon.
Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PC, iOS, and Android, and it will launch on PS5 on April 28, 2021 and Nintendo Switch at an unspecified date.
