Last year, producer Nigel Godrich began to unearth footage from his From the Basement series, adding the archival videos to the show’s YouTube page. Godrich and Radiohead have now released a real rarity in the series: Thom Yorke’s 2005 solo piano concert that served as the series’ pilot episode. Yorke’s performance includes early versions of In Rainbows’ “Videotape,” “Down Is the New Up,” and “Last Flowers,” as well as “Analyse” from Yorke’s 2006 solo album, The Eraser. Check out the concert in full below.

Last week, Radiohead began adding more archival videos to their YouTube channel. The band also unveiled a a new series of crew T-shirts with proceeds benefitting stage and crew organizations supported at #WeMakeEvents. In March, Yorke contributed to the soundtrack to Japanese designer Jun Takahashi’s Fall 2021 runway show.
