Erika Jayne’s Husband Tom Girardi Has Alzheimer’s Disease

A couple of months ago, it was reported that Erika Jayne’s estranged husband Tom Girardi was hospitalized for a mysterious illness.

Soon after, Tom’s brother Robert Girardi claimed that Tom was suffering with memory loss. And, as a result, Robert has been serving as Tom’s conservator. Now, it has been reported that the now-former lawyer has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

TMZ has reported that Tom has Alzheimer’s and, with the outlet pointing out “his dementia impairs his ability to understand court hearings.”

Yesterday, the news broke that Tom lost his license to practice law in the state of California. However, he has been expected to make some future court appearances because he’s being accused of filing a sham divorce to hide assets, stealing money from widows and orphans, not paying his bills, and many other things.

According to the documents obtained by TMZ, “Tom’s doctor says dementia and late-onset Alzheimer’s is affecting Tom’s memory, concentration, recall, recognition, communication, logic and understanding.” So, what does that mean for all the people who need the money he stole from them? How will they get the money that they deserve?

Apparently, Tom’s doctor said “Tom’s feeling angry, anxious, fearful, panicked and helpless.” ~~Just imagine how helpless the people feel whose money was stolen after their families died in a plane crash~~.

At this moment, it is unclear when Tom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. And, of course, it’s unfortunately unclear how this will factor into his many legal battles and impending divorce. Will Erika take a break from posting thirst trap photos to acknowledge this? Probably not.
