It was the analogy heard round the Bravo world! For anyone not watching Real Housewives of New Jersey (which, why?) – Teresa Giudice kicked off this new season by reigniting her feud with Jackie Goldschneider. Tre, famous for holding grudges, burst into the opening party scene at Jackie’s house, ready to play with an unfounded rumor about Evan Goldschneider cheating on Jackie. Did I mention it was his birthday party?
None of the women were having it. That is, aside from Jennifer Aydin, who must have a clause in her contract about defending Teresa at all costs. Margaret Josephs had Tre and Jackie over the next day to clear the air. It did not go well. Jackie, somehow forgetting her audience, made up “the worst analogy ever” about Gia Giudice to make a point to Tre. The analogy bothered a lot of people, including Real Housewives of New York’s Dorinda Medley, who called out Jackie directly on Twitter for being the “lowest of the lowest.” Now, Jackie’s responding.
Jackie spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the whole analogy debacle. Ultimately, Jackie has zero regrets. She claims she would never have made the analogy if she “really thought that Teresa wouldn’t understand.” Sure, because mentioning Tre’s kids has been off limits since the dawn of the show. Still, Jackie is moving forward and not bothered by people’s opinions.
Jackie “ultimately appears to have the viewers on her side after the premiere.” That is, “save for The Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley, who tweeted her support for Teresa.” Jackie is “paying no mind” to her tweets.

“I’m not that worried about what prior cast members of other franchises think of me,” Jackie said. Note the “prior.” Those are fighting words!
Dorinda was let go from RHONY after this recent season ended. This, however, does not mean Dorinda won’t be back. In which case, would Jackie be singing another tune?

I love smack talk among Housewives from different series. I mean, this is part of why we watch, no? But the other thing about Housewives is that their fate can turn on a dime. Maybe next year we’ll see Jackie from the sidelines calling out Dorinda for something she did on RHONY.
