Lisa Barlow Says She “Married For Love” While Heather Gay “Married For Money, Lifestyle And The Howard Hughes Connection”

Lisa Barlow Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City

When we first met Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Heather Gay and Lisa Barlow, their relationship was already rocky. Lisa, who owns several alcohol brands with her husband, channeled Mariah Carey and denied knowing Heather during their days at the same college. Well, except that she remembered that her RHOSLC co-star was “a good time girl.”

This was news to Heather, who was upset by Lisa’s comments. Heather, who owns Beauty Lab & Laser, is divorced from Billy Gay III who comes from “Mormon Royalty.” She has struggled to find her footing since her divorce, and recently confided in her three daughters that she feels shamed and judged by the Mormon church.

When Jen Shah threw a surprise party for her husband, Sharrieff Shah, Whitney Rose decided it was the perfect time to spill some tea. Whitney told Jen that Lisa and Lisa’s bestie, Meredith Marks, were afraid of Jen.  Spoiler alert: It didn’t go over well.

In the most recent episode of RHOSLC, Lisa hosted a power-lunch for other successful female entrepreneurs. Of course, Meredith was there, but no other ladies from the franchise were invited. Now there is an epic Twitter feud between Heather and Lisa, and I am here for it! (There is some rough grammar ahead.)

Heather hopped on Twitter to share her thoughts about the lunch. “Why isn’t @TheRealJenShah invited to this event?? #RHOSLC,” Heather posted with a thinking emoji. One fan remarked, “Lisa is too much of a climber.”

Lisa tweeted in response, “No that’s Heather’s job. I married for love not for $$ and lifestyle and the Howard Hughes connection.” Lisa insisted, “I don’t need to climb. I earn my way!” She added a heart emoji. Wow…just wow.

Heather shaded Lisa by using part of Meredith’s tagline in her response. Heather simply wrote, “#getwellsoon.” Meredith’s full tagline is, “Jealousy is a disease, to which I say, ‘Get well soon!’” I love that tagline.

A user came to Heather’s defense and slammed Lisa. “That comment on Heather’s post about her marriage is nasty and mean and shows exactly who you are!” the fan tweeted. “Heather didn’t call you a social climber a commentor did, but you went for the jugular sad and pathetic woman you are.”

Lisa posted a video clip from RHOSLC which shows Heather talking to Billy. In a confessional scene, Heather stated, “When I first met Billy, he checked all the boxes. He was over 6 feet tall; he was cool, and he was rich, and his family connection to Howard Hughes made him Mormon royalty. And that was all that mattered.” Lisa wrote, “What’s the matter? Don’t like the truth. Should I post the other one too? There is more.” Ouch.

Then Lisa shared another RHOSLC clip  of  scenes of Whitney and Heather saying that they are afraid of Jen. The ambitious liquor brand owner wrote, “Duplicitous behavior. #ImFearless #RHOSLC.” Another one of Heather’s followers blasted Lisa. “That’s How We Feel About You Saying You Don’t Know Heather. Fake Behavior. You Judgmental Person. Fake And Rude,” the user posted. Damn!

Lisa dissed Heather again and tweeted, “Ok… she didn’t know me until 2017. She lied.” I’m not sure why Heather would lie about that, or why Lisa has Twitter rage, but I can’t wait to find out!
