‘Ghostwire: Tokyo’ Apparently Eyeing October Release?

Horror

Tango Gameworks appears to have Ghostwire: Tokyo readying for a Halloween release. At least, if the quiet announcement during Sony’s CES 2021 presentation has any validity to it.

The upcoming title from Bethesda was shown with several other PlayStation 5 games at the end of a hype trailer at around 10:39 of the video below, with the game coming “October 2021”. Its veracity hasn’t been confirmed by Sony, Bethesda or Tango Gameworks.

That being said, releasing Ghostwire: Tokyo in October would be consistent with Tango Gamesworks’ other horror-centric titles being released around the same time. Namely, The Evil Within in 2014, and its sequel in 2017.

Regardless, it’s safe to assume that the game will be making its way to PlayStation 5 and PC later this year.
